Aegis to expand Joplin center
Aegis Communications Group plans to hire more than 250 people over the next few months for its Joplin call center, the company said Friday. About 100 of the jobs are permanent, the rest are seasonal, with a chance that they can be rolled into permanent jobs perhaps early next year, said Debra Zismer, human resources manager for Aegis in Joplin.

I've been getting a lot of questions lately about a tall, yellowish, grasslike plant that is taking over some home and commercial lawns. Although it looks a bit like a grass, it isn't; it's yellow nutsedge, one of the more troublesome weeds to get rid of in the home lawn.
